Haller & Colvin, P.C., joins Whitington Homes and Services for Children and Families in thanking the staff and attorneys of Haller & Colvin, P.C., who joined together to support a family in need this Christmas season. The Christmas Family program is an annual effort coordinated by by Haller & Colvin staff member Carrie Melcher. Once again this year, thanks to the efforts of Carrie and the generosity of Haller & Colvin staff and attorneys, a family received gifts and funds for a special Christmas dinner. A thank-you from Whitington, along with a handwritten thank-you note from the grateful family, was received by Haller & Colvin after the holiday season.

Haller & Colvin, P.C., advised Steel Dynamics, Inc., it the company's recently-announced acquisition of OmniSource Corporation. The transaction, valued at approximately $1 billion, will combine Steel Dynamics, the fifth largest producer of carbon steel in the U.S, with one of North America's largest scrap recycling companies.
