Mark E. GiaQuinta

Mr. GiaQuinta began his legal practice in 1979. As a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, he has a long history of community involvement, including four terms on the Fort Wayne City Council. Mr. GiaQuinta has served on numerous local boards and commissions, including the Fort Wayne Plan Commission and the Public Transportation Commission. He has also served on a state environmental study committee and the State Efficiency Commission. Mr. GiaQuinta currently serves as the President of the FWCS Board of School Trustees, and has previously served as the Chairman of the St. Joseph Hospital Board of Directors.

Mr. GiaQuinta's vast experience in state, county, and municipal government allows him to assist companies seeking governmental assistance and regulatory approval for land use, utility and environmental permits. He has represented both large corporations and private individuals before area zoning boards, and obtained zoning approvals for Steel Dynamics, Inc.'s plants in Butler and Columbia City.

Mr. GiaQuinta litigates cases in all areas, but especially in commercial and personal injury cases. Mr. GiaQuinta has lectured at continuing legal education seminars on land use, environmental law, and the effective use of discovery in civil cases. He accepts cases involving general corporate litigation, governmental permitting, and plaintiffs' personal injuries.
