Aaron J Butler
Aaron Butler practices general civil litigation, handling medical malpractice claims and other personal injury cases. In addition, he represents clients in insurance coverage litigation, commercial litigation, and serves as defense counsel for the Allen County Sheriff. Mr. Butler also regularly litigates appeals before the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Indiana Supreme Court. He has successfully challenged several trial court decisions on appeal, and writes the legal briefs for several appeals each year. Mr. Butler has also conducted oral argument before the Court of Appeals, and has appeared in person before the Indiana Supreme Court.
Mr. Butler is a member of the Board of Directors of Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Northeastern Indiana. He regularly provides pro bono legal counseling to those in need, through the Allen County Legal Line and the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic. He is a 2009 graduate of Leadership of Fort Wayne.
Mr. Butler graduated cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law - Bloomington in 2005. In law school he earned the highest grade in his Pretrial Lititgation class, received recognition for his oral advocacy and brief writing in the school's Sherman Minton Moot Court competition, and spent five consecutive semesters on the Dean's List. Prior to attending law school, he was a writer and editor, working in journalism and public relations for several years.
